WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE????

ASTROS CHEAT FOR WORLD SERIES!

PRO FOOTBALL HALL OF FAME SNUBS COWBOY WIDE RECIEVER!

Really????

Lets start with the Astros!

Here’s a major league baseball team that was caught—“Cheating” during the entire 2017 season, and that led them to a World Series Championship, against the LA Dodgers!

Now the Commissioner of the league, had come out and stated that the Manager and the General Manger of the team will be suspended for one year, and then the team came down and FIRED them both! OK—justice is handled within the team!

BUT!!!!!!!!!!! There’s more! The Dodgers get nothing out of it, they were cheated out of a championship, because the Astros used technology to beat a team, well that doesn’t mean that other teams haven’t done it or thought about doing it, or even did it without getting caught!

Could it be sour grapes that the Dodgers are complaining about not getting anything from the league, for example, the trophy remains inside the offices of the Astros, and the team gets to keep their rings, and the fans are still wearing their championship gear that they bought, and celebrated their team’s victory!

But at what cost?

Integrity! That’s the cost!

The team now will now be a villain in every venue they step into, they will not be welcomed with cheers, they will be heckled to no end! They will no longer be revered as the champions of a city that so deserved it, perceived as they were during their Championship run—Lets face it—Hurricane Harvey ripped through the Houston area and caused the team to play some games away from their home field, remember when the Rangers and the Astros had to play two games in Tampa? They wouldn’t compromise and play those games in Arlington against the Rangers, and chose to have MLB make arrangements to play in Tampa!

Their battle cry was “HOUSTON STRONG!”

It rang through their city, their community, their state!

NOW, we get into the nitty gritty of what this whole mess brings,

The City—Houston, their first championship out side of basketball, and the old AFL, they hoisted a trophy that wasn’t NBA, they brought the world championship for the first time in the history of baseball, to the state of Texas!

The Astros have appeared in three fall classics, they are the only Major League team to appear as both National League AND American League Champions.

They were brought to the American League to help balance out Major League Baseballs divisions, and to help with the Western Division, so there will be a third of their games in the central time zone for both them and their I-45 rival, Texas Rangers.

They also found out that the Western Division was a bit easier to control, as they have seen, even with the LA Angels, the Oakland A’s, the Seattle Mariners and of course the Texas Rangers, they were weak, all of them were.

Even though the Texas Rangers have won the West several times and of course were Two Time American League Champions in 2010 and 2011.

Cheating will not get you anywhere, and they will not have honor or integrity in this league. They have to at least find both a new manager and GM, for the 2020 season, and the lose some draft picks and international picks!

It’s a horrible mess, and with that mess brings up the conversation about now Major League Baseball might HAVE to reinstate the pariah, Pete Rose!  How’s that going to work out for you now Commish?

The other rant is the Pro Football Hall of Fame!

REALLY????? YOU DON’T VOTE IN THE ORIGINAL 88 OF THE DALLAS COWBOYS??

Drew Pearson was not elected into the 100 Anniversary of the NFL, NOT THE HALL OF FAME by the way—that was put together in 1963.

But none the less, the Hall, snub one of the best players in the NFL in the 1970s, they had him FIRST TEAM offense for ALL DECADE team of that era, Pearson, went to SEVEN NFC Championships was a Pro Bowler, and ALL PRO

He had the credentials, and yes I know that another Cowboy was voted in, well TWO others actually were voted in--- Jimmy Johnson, and Cliff Harris, but Drew didn’t and neither did Clint Murchinson the original owner and founder of the Dallas Cowboys!

But lets focus on Drew Pearson, and for whatever reason, he was not voted into the Hall!

A man that has a Super Bowl Ring, and was clutch in the moments that counted, was on a team that every one that was a First Team All Decade has been voted in, including Roger Staubach, Tony Dorsett, Randy White, Rayfield Wright, Tom Landry, Tex Schramm, and most recently Gil Brandt!

Those names are impressive but then again so is #88 Drew Pearson!

The other 88, Michael Irvin is in, and the 90 Cowboys are represented, but Pearson is the missing name from the Hall!

Now what the current thinking is,, that Pearson will go in NEXT year, and let him have the stage all to himself, and that would be nice but he already stated , that they will have to come and find him and hit him over the head with a baseball bat to get his attention! He was heart broken when his name was not announced, and it was a shock to his system, and for that matter, it struck all Cowboy fans the same way.

Now the long 12 month wait is back on for Drew Pearson has it has for over 30 years, almost 40 years, before his day comes!

Once again the Hall Got It WRONG!
